Justine is Development Scientist II in the Product Sciences and Characterization team. She is a native New Yorker and grew up on Long Island. She is an immunologist with experience in translational human immunology. She came to Seattle 3.5 years ago to do postdoctoral work at the Benaroya Research Institute, where she worked on characterizing T cell phenotypes and mechanistic responses in allergy and allergen immunotherapy. Before that, she did her PhD at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research investigating the effects of lupus associated genetic risk alleles on B cell function. Some things she can be found doing are hiking, being outside exploring WA natural beauty, working out, cooking, learning French, listening to podcasts on science and skepticism, and because she is a nerd, talking to friends and family about random tidbits in immunology.
