Ash Landuyt is a Scientist II on the GentiBio Discovery team, where she is part of the efforts to characterize and further improve upon engineered regulatory T cells (EngTregs) for application in autoimmunity. Ash earned her B.S. in Microbiology from Auburn University and her Ph. D in Immunology from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she studied the epigenetic control of Tregs and the impact of T cell costimulation on immune interaction with intestinal microbes. Outside of the laboratory, Ash enjoys video games, drawing, and exploring new foods.
