Jennifer Yam is a Senior Associate Scientist in GentiBio’s T1D program within the Discovery group. She completed her MSc degree in Immunology at the University of Toronto, studying B cell trafficking in animal models of multiple sclerosis. After graduating, Jennifer worked at the Princess Margaret Cancer Center, where she gained experience in adoptive cell therapy manufacturing and quality assurance management. She then joined the Immune Monitoring Lab at Massachustes General Hospital where she
assisted in assay development and immunophenotyping of samples from patients receiving novel CAR-T therapies. In her spare time, Jennifer likes to go rock climbing and exploring national parks
